Target acquired: Earth.
On the back, an ASCII globe turns under a crosshair locked on 0°N 0°E, better known as Null Island. That’s the spot every bad GPS reading ends up, and the closest thing the planet has to a 0.0.0.0. The continents aren’t drawn, they’re written, one bit at a time. Underneath, a traceroute follows the route to null.island hop by hop until the planet is reached. Look closely at those hops: they hide a flag worth points in our CTF. Find it, then submit it under “Found on our merch” on the challenges page.
On the front, a small chest mark keeps it quiet: a mini globe drawn in our # logo, a red crosshair, and hack_the_planet.
The details
• Full-back print, about 24 × 38 cm
• Small left-chest print, about 10 cm wide
• Soft, lightweight cotton with a little stretch
• 100% combed and ring-spun cotton (heather colours contain polyester)
• Fabric weight: 142 g/m² (4.2 oz/yd²)
• Pre-shrunk, so it keeps its size in the wash
• Side seams for a better fit, and taped shoulders that hold their shape
• Garment sourced from Nicaragua, Mexico, Honduras or the US
Good to know: the fabric is lightweight and can look slightly see-through in some lighting, although that’s much less noticeable on the dark colours.
Care: wash cold, inside out. Don’t iron over the print.
